AKUP Type Solid Fuel Fired  Steam Boilers

• AKUP series steam boilers are designed for burning solid fuel for steam production.
• The flue gas way is similar with the Scotch boiler design, however the furnace has a special design for burning solid fuel with stockers.
• Solid fuel loading is automatic by helezone to the furnace.
• The solid fuel transfers to burning box from furnace through the helezones.
• The fuel feeding system quantity changes according to the capacity of boiler
• Burning boxes have very special and unique modular design with high quantity of Nickel alloyed  material
• The burning box has special air canals  and cooled  by air
• The burning occurs on burning box.
• Thermic calculations are made according to the nut coal of 14-25 mm with LHV=6500 kcal/kg which has less ash rate than %10.
• By some modifications, it is possible to burn some other type of solid fuels such as prina, wood pieces, almond shell etc.
• Design calculations are done according to 2014/68/EU Pressure Vessels Directive of EN-12953 norms.
• High quality steel for body and seamless special boiler tubes are used at manufacture.
• The boiler weight increases with the increasing steam capacity and design pressure.
• The boiler is designed as one or two stocker according to the capacity.
• Higher steam volume for perfect steam quality.
• Large water volume and optimum thermal balance causes long-life usage.
• The front door is coated with a special refractory material durable up to 1200⁰C.
• Very effective and durable front door design for easy cleaning and with no leakage.
• Low specific load rate supplies long-term economical usage and low fuel consumption.
• The boiler body is insulated ratherly good; covered by rock wool and covered by stainless steel or aluminium sheet metal. Prevent heat loss by high quality isolation.
• it supplies high efficiency in heat transfer by it is perfect smoke way design.
• Because of low consumption of fuel, it is environmently friendly.
• Boiler body welds are checked by radiographic scanning.
• If wanted; steam boilers can be served as package unites.
